Lost: Series Finale
Something I haven’t seen in over 3 years has just made me cry. What a finale. What a way to end a life. What a way to start anew. To be greeted by those who knew and loved you best. All at once.
The characters really were the thing that made this show great. And there’s nothing better than getting everyone back together to say goodbye. I only hope that when I pass on, I can be surrounded and greeted by all those who ever meant anything to me and to all those I ever meant anything to. It makes me think of my favorite quote from The Thin Red Line: “If I never meet you in this life, let me feel the lack.” Somehow, they all found their way back to each other.
It kind of makes me think though, did they all end up lost in heaven? Did they all kind of live this pseudo life in heaven and then when they really touched one another, they remembered who they had been to each other on the island?
Pretty confusing, but still really beautiful. I’d like to watch the whole series, but man, who has the time? It’s not even something I can start up from where I left off. I’d need to start from the beginning again.
